I started out small. Had an Inkel MX880 mixer and two crappy turntables which only lasted for about a month or two, after that I replaced them in the fall of 1996 with two JB-Systems Disco 2000 turntables. These were beltdriven and ideal for learning how to much at a relively low cost. They were eventually replaced in may 2001 by a couple of Technics SL 1200MK2’s; the industry standard turntable. The Inkel Mixer was replaced by a Reloop RM-1000 pro. After that the only thing that expanded was my record collection which still grows every now and then.
